MechaTronix redefines LED cooling - a new era reveals in led lighting
We have all been witnessing the major ramp-up in lumen per watt outputs in the past years. Of course the more lumen per watt are created, the less energy will transfer in to heat.Still many people are not aware that even with this major evolutions, the current efficiencies of LED COB and modules are still in the range of 30% to 35% , means that still 65% to 70% of the energy goes to heat.

ModuLED Pico smallest spot light LED cooler for 1,800 lumen
As an extension to the success of the ModuLED modular LED coolers, MechaTronix developed a new era of passive LED cooling in a diameter of 47 millimeter, named the ModuLED Pico.
The choice for a diameter of 47mm speaks for itself. With this diameter the new LED spot or down light can easily fit in any existing lighting fixture with classic MR16 or GU10 lamps.

Why Pin Fin LED coolers perform better under tilted position
Ever wondered what the effect would be of tilting you LED spot light design over a certain angle with respect to thermal behavior?
In this whitepaper we describe the effect of tilting spot light designs over an angle of 50 degrees and 90 degrees, and compare the thermal results from LED coolers made by extrusion and made by pin fin technology.

Edison Opto, BJB and MechaTronix cooperation
Success in the world of LED lighting:
It’s all about partneringIn the world of LED lighting components standing on your own is like being left alone in the desert
More and more players in the manufacturing side of LED components start to understand that, and new eco partnerships result out of that.

Tridonic & MechaTronix LED cooling cooperation
Full range LED coolers launched for Tridonic Talexx Stark SLE LED modules
Ready to use LED modules are in the lift, that’s the least you can say
More and more lighting designers prefer to work with standard LED modules instead of PCB boards with discrete LED components.
The reasons for that are rather clear: no LED binning problems, guaranteed lumen packages and lighting colors, high CRI values,… -

IceLED Ultra Modular active LED cooler ø99mm h75mm
MechaTronix launches first 200 watt active LED cooling for high bay and industrial light designs
The “IceLED Ultra”, that’s the name the new active LED cooler was baptized.
In a diameter of just 99 millimeter and with a weight of less than 500 grams this revelation in LED cooling keeps luminaires up to 20.000 lumen on their expected temperature.
This makes the IceLED Ultra ideal for high bays and industrial light designs
