CoolBeam® kits from MechaTronix enable high lumen outdoor lighting

Specifically developed around the 2x2MX LED platform, MechaTronix launches a series of patented building kits for outdoor luminaires like stadium lights, high mast and industrial flood lights. The kits dubbed the CoolBeam® platform host 3 up to 12 CoolBlock® 2x2MX LED engines, generating from 5.000 all the way up to 60.000 lumen.

MechaTronix acts on the tendency of short time to market. The 2x2MX platform on itself delivers perfect IP67 waterproof LED engines for outdoor use. The CoolBeam® kits are developed in a modular way so a wide score of LED drivers can be implemented. A wide variety of lenses with different beam patterns both in PMMA as in silicone has been developed by Ledil for the 2x2MX platform.

The Strada 2x2MX or HB 2x2MX are mounted with 8 screws towards the LED Cooler. The LED Cooler is foreseen from an e-coating surface finishing, providing a higher withstand against UV and salty environments. A separate gland is available to put the wire back side of the 2x2MX Cooling Engine, what makes the engine as a stand-alone unit IP67 Ingress protected.

All together this leads to a flexibility which is often needed in project based outdoor illumination.
